Every garden needs to be irrigated well in order to thrive, but it is also important to save water especially during the summer time. This garden is situated in Halkidiki, Greece in a resort with houses used mostly during the summer months. Originally the garden had only lawn, but now the Mediterranean plants add color and beautify the space. Adding these plants, which survive even the driest and hottest summers, resulted in a huge drop of water usage for the irrigation of the garden and improved the overall aesthetics.
